Civic Dome closed on May 27

The Civic Dome, located at the Civic Recreation Complex, will be temporarily closed for maintenance on Monday, May 27. As a result, indoor tennis court bookings and rentals, as well as access to the indoor track, will be unavailable on this day.

Public Roller Skating/Blading cancelled May 24 and 25

Public Roller Skating/Blading sessions scheduled on Friday, May 24 at the Donevan Recreation Complex and Saturday, May 25 at the Delpark Homes Centre, have been cancelled. Public Roller Skating/Blading will resume the following week.

Oshawa’s splash pads open for the season

The City of Oshawa is preparing for the warmer weather by planning the opening of a variety of cooling options for the season.
Splash padsThe following splash pads will open on Wednesday, May 15:
- Delpark Homes Centre (accessible splash pad)
- Lakeview Park (accessible splash pad)
Additional splash pads will be available on Wednesday, May 22. The City’s splash pads operate daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Labour Day (September 2), with hours extended to dusk during heat alerts.

The City of Oshawa offers a variety of summer recreation programs tailored to various interests for an unforgettable summer experience. We encourage community members to set aside time to register.
The city will open registration for summer swimming lessons only at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21. Registration for general summer recreation programs, including arts, dance, music, learn to skate and fitness, will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 23.
