This is a day to take time for reflection, remembrance and commitment as we recognize the deep pain and loss experienced by Indigenous communities across the nation due to the ongoing crisis of gender-based violence that disproportionately targets Indigenous women and girls.

The City of Oshawa is pleased to report total building permit activity of $639+ million in 2023 -- its second highest total construction value on record and contributing to over $1.5B in total permit value over the past two years.
