Fenelon/Venus Park features a new playground and accessible amenities

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce the official reopening of Fenelon/Venus Park, a neighbourhood park featuring new playground equipment and accessible features. Celebrating Camp Samac’s rich heritage in Oshawa

Members of City Council and representatives from Heritage Oshawa and Scouts Canada celebrated the heritage designation of Camp Samac and installation of a heritage plaque.

City of Oshawa deploys new green vehicle fleet

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce it has introduced its first seven fully electric vehicles to its fleet. These vehicles are 100 percent battery powered.

The City of Oshawa acknowledges June as Indigenous History Month, and has proclaimed June 21, 2023 as Indigenous Peoples Day.
The City of Oshawa is situated on lands covered under the Williams Treaties and the traditional and treaty territory of the Michi Saagi and Chippewa Anishinaabeg which includes the Mississauga First Nations of Scugog Island, Curve Lake, Alderville and Hiawatha, and the Chippewa First Nations of Georgina Island, Rama and Beausoleil.
