The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the launch of a pilot preschool program, to be offered alongside the popular Playground Program. Families with children aged 3 to 5 can now participate in this engaging program at no cost, every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at select park locations.

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce that on July 10, Oshawa City Council endorsed the renewal of a new Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 251 (Inside Workers).
The renewal agreement, which will expire on December 31, 2025, includes modest benefit increases and wage increases of 3.0% effective for January 1, 2023; 2.5% for January 1, 2024; and 2.5% for January 1, 2025.
