Members of Council and neighbourhood residents celebrated the completion of the Florell Park redevelopment project at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 19.
The park redevelopment project focused on accessibility and access for all abilities and ages. The City of Oshawa and Oshawa Fire Services officially celebrated the opening of a new fire training facility on April 14. Members of Council were on hand to take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and watch a live fire training demonstration.

Oshawa community members may notice an increase in coyote sightings this time of year as coyotes start seeking out a den to raise their pups. Residents and property owners are reminded not to feed coyotes and are encouraged to wildlife proof their property to minimize encounters and prevent denning.
