On behalf of Oshawa City Council, Mayor Dan Carter expresses his deepest sorrow on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and offers his condolences to The Royal Family and the people of the Commonwealth.

New electric vehicle chargers now available at City facilities

As part of its ongoing commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (G.H.G.), the City of Oshawa has installed 16 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at City facilities across Oshawa.
With funding support through The Atmospheric Fund, the City has installed Level 2 charging stations which are now available to the public at the following City facilities:
- Civic Recreation Complex (99 Thornton Rd. S.)
- Delpark Homes Centre (1661 Harmony Rd. N.)
- South Oshawa Community Centre (1455 Cedar St.)

City of Oshawa’s first cricket field open for play

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce that the city’s first cricket field with pitch is officially open for use at Stone Street Park.
The new temporary cricket field is a smaller sized playing field with an approximate boundary radius of 40-50 metres.
