The City of Oshawa’s proposed 2022 City Budget is now available online on the Budget webpage.
Members of the public are welcome to watch the budget meetings online via webstream on the following dates beginning at 9:30 a.m.:

Design underway on the Oshawa Creek Trail at Windfields Drive West

The City of Oshawa is paving the existing granular pathway, which extends north from Britannia Avenue West to Windfields Farm Drive West along the east tributary of the Oshawa Creek, as identified in the Active Transportation Master Plan.
The project is seeking comments related to the accessibility of the recreational trail, such as the rest areas, viewing areas, and amenities along the proposed trail extension.

Actions underway in response to coyote incidents in Oshawa

The health and safety of our community is our top priority. In response to both the numerous sightings and interactions with coyotes, the City of Oshawa has undertaken a number of actions over the last several months.
Most recently at the Monday, October 4, 2021 Corporate Services Committee where Report CORP-21-48 Coyotes in the City of Oshawa was discussed, the Corporate Services Committee recommended that staff:
- coordinate a virtual community information session on co-existing with coyotes;

New look for Oshawa Council and Standing and Advisory Committee meetings

The City of Oshawa has introduced a new meeting management software for our City Council, Standing and Advisory Committee meetings.
Community members will notice changes in the look of how agendas and minutes are displayed.
