Winter waste reminders

As the seasons change, Oshawa residents are reminded that winter weather can make it difficult for waste collection operators to see and safely reach your garbage, green bin and recycling.
Please keep these reminders in mind when placing waste at the curb:
- Respect and maintain physical distancing of 6 feet (2 metres) with our waste collection staff and please do not approach waste collection vehicles.

The proposed 2021 City Budget is now available online on the Budget webpage (www.oshawa.ca/budget).

Yesterday, for the first time since the formation of Durham Region in 1974, Regional Council approved a comprehensive set of recommendations to prioritize numerous high-value water and sewer infrastructure projects designed to increase the Region’s supply of market-ready employment lands.
