The Regional Municipality of Durham will be reconstructing Columbus Road East (Regional Road 3) from west of Grandview Street North to east of Townline Road in the City of Oshawa. Construction Schedule The Region’s contractor, Hard-Co Construction Ltd., has mobilized on the site with work scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2025. The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane shifts and speed reductions on Ritson Road North in the City of Oshawa.
When: August 26 to November 22, 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions and the Region’s contractor schedule may influence the work schedule.
Where: North and southbound lane shifts and speed reductions on Ritson Road North (Regional Road 16), from Britannia Avenue East to 775 metres south of Winchester Road East (Regional Road 3), in the City of Oshawa.

Details: The City of Oshawa has awarded Contract No. O 24-07 to Cambridge Landscaping & Construction Limited (CLCL). The work involves the realignment of approximately 100m of Harmony Creek and the multi-use path. The scope of work includes realigning the creek away from the neighbouring properties and realigning the path to be adjacent to the creek.
