The elevator at Parking Garage 1 (12 Centre St. N.) in downtown Oshawa is currently out of service due to repairs.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience and is working closely with contractors to make the repairs as quickly as possible.

Donevan Recreation Complex Renovation Disruption

From Monday, March 17 to Friday, March 28, the Donevan Recreation Complex will undergo renovations to install new entrance doors designed to improve accessibility for all patrons. During this period, the main entrance will be closed, and patrons will need to use the alternative entrance. Signage will be posted at the facility to direct patrons to the temporary entrance.

The City of Oshawa has awarded Contract No. O 25-10 to Kodiak Tree Services. The Work involves the removal of Trees along the Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail for future bridge and trail work.

Civic Outdoor Track Reconstruction Project

The Civic Recreation Complex is well known for its outdoor track and stadium that hosts numerous track and field events each year, as well as football, lacrosse and soccer teams.
The City of Oshawa is investing $2.3 million in crucial repairs to the outdoor track and jumping runways. Staff are working diligently to expedite the project, with the goal of reopening the track in spring 2026.
