Time to register for Winter activeOshawa programs and holiday camps

Winter recreation program registration is just around the corner, and we encourage community members to set aside some time in advance to prepare for registration.
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, the City will open registration for winter swimming lessons only. Registration for general winter recreation programs, including arts and crafts, dance, music, fitness, sports and March Break Camps will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 21.

Applications for the City of Oshawa's 2025 Community Grant Program, which supports Oshawa organizations and community groups, will be accepted until December 31, 2024 under the following four programs:
- Arts, Culture and Heritage Events – funds to support the development and delivery of events, festivals, celebrations and gatherings in Oshawa.

South Oshawa Community Centre pool closed until further notice

The South Oshawa Community Centre (SOCC) pool (1455 Cedar St.) is closed for an extended time to assess and evaluate required repairs for the safe operation of the pool.
As a result of the pool closure, the City will not offer aquatic programs at SOCC until repairs are complete. Additional swimming lessons will be available at the Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre, and Donevan Recreation Complex.

Sunnyside Park reopens with new amenities

The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the reopening of Sunnyside Park. Located at 260 McKim St, the revitalization of the park is now complete.
