Lane restrictions on Ritson Rd. from Viola Ave. to Mitchell Ave.

The Regional Municipality of Durham will begin deck repairs on the Canadian Pacific Kansas City railway overhead bridge on Ritson Road (Regional Road 16) in the City of Oshawa. The work includes bridge deck and sidewalk surface removals and patching, replacement of expansion joints and asphalt paving with associated traffic control.

Road Closure: Bridle Rd and Windfields Farm Dr. E will be closed to through traffic.
No through access will be available for emergency vehicles.
Road closure and detour signs will be posted in accordance with provincial standards.
When: From October 16, 2024 until November 18, 2024
Where: Windfields Farm Dr. E. – Steeplechase St. to Bridle Rd.
Bridle Rd. – Winchester Rd. E to Gulfstream Ave.

Main entrance closed at Donevan Recreation Complex

The main entrance at the Donevan Recreation Complex will be closed for construction starting Monday, November 11. The entrance is expected to reopen on Monday, November 25.
During this closure, community members are asked to use the alternative entrance, which will be clearly marked at the facility.
Upcoming lane restrictions on Bloor Street West

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bloor Street West (Regional Road 22).
When: October 17 to December 17. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Eastbound and westbound lane restrictions will take place on Bloor Street West, from east of Thornton Road South to Stevenson Road South (Regional Road 53).
Why: To allow for the relocation of Enbridge Gas infrastructure in preparation for a pending Region capital works project.
