Wentworth Street West
The Wentworth Street West Community Improvement Plan offers three financial incentive programs to encourage development and redevelopment along Wentworth Street West:
- Economic Stimulus Grant
- Façade and Accessibility Improvement Grant
- Increased Assessment Grant Program
Applications for Increased Assessment Grants are accepted year round and require Council approval.
Applications for all other grant programs are accepted twice a year, with both 2024 intake deadlines now passed (March 1, 2024 and September 1, 2024).
Prior to the completion of the application form, applicants are strongly encouraged to review the Wentworth Street West Community Improvement Plan and consult with staff from Business and Economic Development Services. Early consultation can result in the identification of matters that will significantly assist in the processing of the application.
