The City of Oshawa announced today that Owasco has extended their naming rights sponsorship of Arena 3 at the City’s Delpark Homes Centre recreation facility for another five years.

City of Oshawa records strongest year of building activity with over $900 million in permit values

The City of Oshawa is pleased to report that building permit activity in 2022 exceeded any year in Oshawa’s recorded history. Oshawa’s previous building permit record was set in 2017 at $614 million. In 2022, the City shattered that record with more than $900 million in building permit values!

The City of Oshawa and Oshawa Public Libraries (OPL) are pleased to officially announce that the Northview Library Branch is now the John Aker Northview Branch.
The renaming of the library branch is in honour of the late John Aker, one of Oshawa’s longest-serving City and Regional Councillors.
