Winter waste reminders

The City of Oshawa reminds community members that snowbanks, icy conditions and winter weather can make it difficult for waste collection operators to see and safely reach your garbage, green bin and recycling.
Please keep these reminders in mind when placing waste at the curb:
- Choose and maintain a collection area that is visible and at ground level.
- Do not place collectables on top of snow banks or on the road.

Oshawa City Council has approved a new four-week meeting schedule for regular Council meetings that is now in effect and available online.
At its meeting of February 18, 2020, Council approved a four-week schedule to allow for the following changes for regular Council meetings in 2020-2022:
- Regular Council meetings to be held on Mondays every four weeks at 9:30 a.m.
