Community Cleanup
Date: April 22 to 25, 2025
Join us in making a difference by registering yourself, a group or an organization to volunteer for a cleanup in your neighbourhood, local park, green space, trail or schoolyard. By volunteering, you'll be supporting the creation of a clean and sustainable community.
In 2024, 8,000 participants registered, collecting more than 1,500 bags of garbage. Thank you for helping create a safe and clean community for everyone to enjoy.
We welcome groups of all sizes to participate in this Community Cleanup.

Dates, Locations and Times:
May 3, 2025 - City Hall North Parkette (50 Centre St. S.) - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
June 14, 2025 - City Hall North Parkette (50 Centre St. S.) - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
September 9, 2025 - Location to be confirmed - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Individuals and community members volunteer alongside City of Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter during the Mayor’s Cleanups. Registered participants join the Mayor outside and engage in community activities which include cleaning up parks, green spaces, trails, and downtown streets. Free bags and gloves are provided for these morning cleanups to promote a safe and clean environment.
