October 23 - Islamic History Month Movie and Culture Night |

City of Oshawa and Muslim Women of Durham Region family event with guest speakers, cultural performance, and screening of the movie Peace by Chocolate. A small dinner will be provided for all attendees. Event Agenda 5:00pm - 5:30pm - Doors open. Check in, view a calligraphy art exhibit and pick up your dinner. 5:30pm - 5:40pm - Welcome 5:40pm - 6:00pm - Islamic History Month Talk with community members 6:00pm - 6:15pm - Performance 6:15pm - 6:30pm - Break. Private space will be provided for prayer 6:30pm - 8:00pm - Screening of Peace by Chocolate (rated PG)
