Bright and Merry Market
Bright & Merry Market
The City of Oshawa’s Bright and Merry Market and Tree-lighting combines traditional tree-lighting with a festive holiday market. It kicks off the holiday season in Oshawa and precedes the Santa Claus parade. To make this a true community event, the event is held in the heart of Oshawa and invite community partners to provide activities, demonstrations and entertainment for guests. The holiday season atmosphere is palpable with seasonal decorations, lighting displays, carol singers, live entertainment, buskers, holiday music, Santa Claus in his igloo and a festive hop-on, hop-off trolley that tours the downtown. This free family friendly event creates memories for families year after year.
