Age-Friendly Oshawa
Oshawa is a member of the World Health Organizations (W.H.O.) Global Network for Age Friendly Cities and Communities. The goal of age-friendly planning is to build communities that encourage good health and participation for people throughout their lives.
In partnership with the Oshawa Senior Community Centres 55+ (OSCC55+) Board of Directors, we joined the network in January 2020.
Our Age-Friendly Strategy
Our Age-Friendly Strategy outlines activities that will support independent active living and enable older adults to continue to join in all aspects of community life.
