Celebrate Local Art at ARTBLOCK during the Convergence Music & Art Festival 2024
The City of Oshawa, in collaboration with The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, invites community members to explore ARTBLOCK, an art-centered zone at Oshawa Tourism’s Convergence Music & Art Festival 2024. ARTBLOCK showcases the incredible talent of local artists through public art exhibitions, hands-on activities and more.
Located at the former Oshawa GO Bus Terminal, 47 Bond St. W., ARTBLOCK will feature the public art exhibition “Points of Connection”. This exhibition brings together works by locally connected artists in a space that once served as a hub of movement and community. The former terminal is a fitting location to explore how we, as a community, flourish through connections.
In addition to the “Points of Connection” exhibition, ARTBLOCK will include a variety of art displays by local artists and hands-on activities for festival-goers of all ages on Prince St. This is an opportunity to engage with the vibrant cultural life of Oshawa and support the artistic community.
