Introducing a free pilot preschool program for children aged 3 to 5

The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the launch of a pilot preschool program, to be offered alongside the popular Playground Program. Families with children aged 3 to 5 can now participate in this engaging program at no cost, every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at select park locations.

Advance registration for this drop-in program is not required; however, parents/guardians will be asked to actively participate during program sessions. For additional details and to locate preschool program locations, visit Oshawa.ca/Play or contact the program office at 905-436-3311 ext. 2033.

Preschool programs may be cancelled when inclement weather occurs. Subscribe to the City’s Service Disruptions to receive updates about programs, including weather related cancellations. During a heat alert, parks without adequate shade will close for the day. For parks that continue to operate, there will be an emphasis on passive games and activities in the shade.
