Road Closure: Harmony Creek Restoration
Date: July 2024 to October 2024
Details: The City of Oshawa has awarded Contract No. O 24-07 to Cambridge Landscaping & Construction Limited (CLCL). The work involves the realignment of approximately 100m of Harmony Creek and the multi-use path. The scope of work includes realigning the creek away from the neighbouring properties and realigning the path to be adjacent to the creek. As part of the restoration, the Contractor will be planting new trees and shrubs.
Trail closure will be instated during the duration of the construction period, see Trail Closure Map below for alternative route.

Where: Harmony Creek, South of Rossland Road East, between Wilson Road North and Camelot Drive.
Work Schedule
The City’s contractor, CLCL, will commence work in the beginning of July of 2024. The work is expected to be completed by October 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.
How will this work affect you?
CLCL will be accessing the work area from Rossland Road East, between Wilson Road North and Camelot Drive. Rossland Road East within the construction limits will remain open with short duration temporary lane closures to facilitate construction in a safe and efficient manner. Temporary lane closures will be identified through temporary traffic controls including but not limited to traffic control devices, signage and flag persons.
