Be aware: Text Message Scam Asking for Payment of Penalties

The City of Oshawa has become aware that residents have received suspicious text messages asking for payment of outstanding penalties.

The City of Oshawa does not send text messages about parking violations, tickets or penalties of any kind. If you receive a text message of this nature, do not click on any links or provide personal information.
