City of Oshawa and CUPE Local 250 renew Collective Agreement

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce that the City and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 250 (Outside Workers) have ratified a new Collective Agreement.

The renewal agreement, which will expire on December 31, 2026, includes modest benefit and wage increases of 3.5% effective for January 1, 2024; 3.25% for January 1, 2025; and 3% for January 1, 2026.

CUPE Local 250 represents approximately 220 staff who provide outside services for our community, including Parks, Roads, Waste, Recreation and Facilities.
