Construction underway on Rose Valley Community Park

Construction is well underway on Rose Valley Community Park, located at 1095 Thornton Rd. North, north of Rossland Road and south of Taunton Road.

The overall project will include:

multiple children’s playground structures designed for variety of age groups and activity levels
benches, shaded rest areas and accessible washrooms
pickleball courts
expanded B.M.X. bike park
accessible enhancements, including pathways, play structures and a fully accessible strider bike path
a formal garden area
walking trails and pathways
a new parking lot with 8 accessible spaces
a pedestrian crossing at Deer Valley Drive

The new park is scheduled to open in summer 2025.
