Easter Weekend Holiday Hours 2025

Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21 is Easter Weekend. Learn how City closures and service changes may affect you:

Service Oshawa & City Hall

Service Oshawa will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21. Customer Service Representatives will be available at Service Oshawa on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Waste Services

There will be no waste collection service on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21.

• Friday collections move to Saturday, April 19.
• Week of April 21: Collection is one day later than usual.

Recreation Facilities

The City’s recreation facilities will be running modified schedules during the holiday weekend.

• Friday, April 18: Delpark Homes Centre is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Civic Recreation Complex is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., South Oshawa Community Centre is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and all other recreation facilities are closed.
• Saturday, April 19: Recreation facilities are open with regular hours.
• Sunday, April 20: Civic Recreation Complex and South Oshawa Community Centre are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Delpark Homes Centre is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and all other recreation facilities are closed.
• Monday, April 21: Civic Recreation Complex and South Oshawa Community Centre are open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Delpark Homes Centre is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and all other recreation facilities are closed.

All registered recreation programs are cancelled from Friday, April 18, through Monday, April 21.
