Enjoy free on-street holiday parking in downtown Oshawa
Supporting small and family-owned businesses in downtown Oshawa is easy to do this holiday season!
The City of Oshawa is offering free on-street parking downtown starting at noon daily from Monday, December 9 up to and including Thursday, January 2. Due to statutory holidays, parking will be free all day on December 25, 26 and January 1.
Fees for on-street parking still apply between 8 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday. On-street parking will remain free after 6 p.m. during the week and all day on weekends and statutory holidays.
Reminders:
- Paid parking will still be required for off-street municipal parking lots and parkades.
- On-street parking is not permitted on Oshawa streets between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., from December 1 to April 1.
- In addition to the 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. winter seasonal parking regulations, vehicles parked on Oshawa streets at any time while salting/snow clearing is underway may be ticketed and/or towed.
