Inbox is the new mailbox; sign up for E-Billing today
Oshawa property owners can sign up to have their Interim and Final Tax bills sent straight to their email inbox with our E-Billing program.
Why sign up? E-Bills:
- include the same information as paper bills;
- are convenient and easy to view;
- are environmentally friendly and help reduce the City’s carbon footprint; and,
- provide cost savings to the City by minimizing paper, printing and postage expenses.
Signing up is quick and easy! Have your 15 digit Property Tax Roll number handy, and visit the E-Billing Application Form on the City’s website to make the switch today.
Note:
- Your Property Tax Roll number is on the top right corner of your Property Tax bill (e.g. 0#0 ### ##### 00000). Can’t find it? Contact Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 for assistance.
- Once a property owner has signed up, they will no longer receive a paper copy of their Interim and Final Tax Bills, however all other mailings (e.g. Reminder Notices, Supplementary Billing, Final Notices and any collections matters) will continue via paper.

Did you know that as a lower tier government, the City of Oshawa collects property taxes for itself, as well as the Region of Durham and the Province? In fact, for every dollar collected in 2024, the City will keep only 40 cents, while approximately 45 cents will be sent to the Region and 15 cents to the Province for local school boards.
Use the City’s Property Tax Calculator to better understand how your Property Taxes are broken down between the different levels of government and then within City programs and services.
