In a recent report released by CBRE, Oshawa ranked as one of the top five markets for tech talent growth across Canada.
Best Neighbourhoods for Shopping
- No. 2 for the Central Oshawa neighbourhood with its abundance of shopping options – many within walking distance – in a bustling Downtown Oshawa.
Best Neighbourhoods for Retirees
- No. 2 for the Samac neighbourhood with its many parks and trails and outdoor spaces on its doorstep.
- No. 3 for the Taunton neighbourhood for its proximity to Delpark Homes Centre, a premier recreation and community facility; and Harmony Valley Park, offering over 60 hectares of unique natural landscapes and a trail network.
Best Neighbourhoods for Pet Lovers
- No. 1 for the Centennial neighbourhood with green spaces, paths and trails along Oshawa Creek.
