Best Neighbourhoods for Shopping

• No. 2 for the Central Oshawa neighbourhood with its abundance of shopping options – many within walking distance – in a bustling Downtown Oshawa.

Best Neighbourhoods for Retirees

• No. 2 for the Samac neighbourhood with its many parks and trails and outdoor spaces on its doorstep.
• No. 3 for the Taunton neighbourhood for its proximity to Delpark Homes Centre, a premier recreation and community facility; and Harmony Valley Park, offering over 60 hectares of unique natural landscapes and a trail network.

Best Neighbourhoods for Pet Lovers

• No. 1 for the Centennial neighbourhood with green spaces, paths and trails along Oshawa Creek.
• No. 3 for the Eastdale-Donevan neighbourhood with its parks, waterways, trails, wooded areas and many green spaces.
