Oshawa residents 55+ now qualify for recreation senior discounts
City of Oshawa residents 55 years of age and older now qualify for senior discounts on City recreation programs, memberships and admission fees.
City Council recently approved a new senior age requirement, lowering the minimum senior age from 65 years old to 55 years old.
Residents 55 years of age and older, living in or paying property taxes in Oshawa, can now enjoy a 35 per cent discount on registered recreation programs and discounted rates on fitness memberships and admission fees for fitness centres, leisure swimming, leisure skating, and drop-in sports activities.
To receive the Oshawa Resident 55+ discount, visit a City of Oshawa recreation facility and provide government-issued identification with proof of age and residency.
Please note proof of age and residency is required each time the Oshawa Resident 55+ discount is requested for a registered program, membership, or leisure admission.
