Significant weather event

The City of Oshawa is advising residents of a significant weather event following a weather warning issued by Environment Canada on February 12, 2025, for Oshawa, Ontario.

Due to the severity of this weather event, the City may be unable to meet its usual maintenance standards for clearing roads and sidewalks. As a result, restoring normal conditions and clear travel routes may take longer than usual.

Residents are encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel and exercise caution if travel is required. Please be aware that hazardous conditions may persist in the City network during this time.
