The City of Oshawa has awarded Contract No. O 25-10 to Kodiak Tree Services. The Work involves the removal of Trees along the Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail for future bridge and trail work.

Where: Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail Closure from Bloor Street to Wentworth Street and from Erie Street to Oxford Street.

Work Schedule

The City’s contractor, Kodiak Tree Services, will commence work on or about March 10, 2025. The work is expected to be completed by April 1, 2025. Unfavorable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.

How will this work affect you?

For public safety, construction will include trail closures from Bloor Street to Wentworth Street and from Erie Street to Oxford Street.

Heavy equipment will need to access the site from Erie Street and/or Cedar Street and associated noise levels may increase during these times.

Regular work hours will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, March 10, 2025, to April 1, 2025
